Cathy Hegman is contemporary figurative artist from Mississippi. Cathy maintains studios in Holly Bluff, Mississippi.
Cathy has worked as a full-time artist for over 36 years and has taught workshops and written features and articles for many of the National art magazines and has been represented by professional galleries for over 19 years.
Cathy has been included in numerous National and International Art Exhibitions and awards in the United States and Brazil and Wales, England. Cathy has had Solo Exhibitions of her work over the last 12 years in various galleries and museums.
Cathy has attained Signature Membership in the American Watercolor Society as well as Dolphin Fellowship in American Watercolor Society, Mississippi Watercolor Society, Signature Membership in Missouri Watercolor Society and Signature Membership of National Watercolor Society and in 2023 attained Master Level in National Watercolor Society , Society of Animal Artists, Southern Watercolor Society, and most recently Signature Membership International Society of Acrylic Painters.
Cathy is also a member of the Mississippi Art Colony and is a member of the American Women Artists.

Cathy Hegman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Mississippi State University. Cathy served as student ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) president for two consecutive years while at MSU. A member of Chi Omega sorority while at MSU and also a Member of Kappa Omicron Phi honor society while at MSU.

Cathy Hegman is contemporary figurative artist from Holly Bluff, Mississippi. Cathy works and paints in her studio in her home in Holly Bluff and her encaustic studio in Yazoo City. Cathy Hegman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Mississippi State University. Cathy served as student ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) president for two consecutive years while at MSU. A member of Chi Omega sorority while at MSU and also a Member of Kappa Omicron Phi honor society while at MSU.

Cathy has worked as a full time artist for over 30 years and has taught workshops and written features and articles for many of the National art magazines.
Cathy has been included in numerous National and International Art Exhibitions in the United States and Brazil and Wales.
Her art has been exhibited in Solo Exhibitions in Greenville and Jackson, Mississippi, New Orleans, La., Memphis, Tn, and Atlanta, Ga.
Cathy has attained Signature Membership in the American Watercolor Society, Mississippi Watercolor Society, Signature Membership in Missouri Watercolor Society and Signature Membership of National Watercolor Society, Society of Animal Artists, Southern Watercolor Society, and most recently Signature Membership International Society of Acrylic Painters.
